Our tour starts with a visit to the famous Sugar Loaf and Urca Hill, the view from the top is really breathtaking!
Then we will take a walk through the quiet neighborhood of Urca, whose construction began in the early twentieth century, being the result of a landfill. Most of the houses in the region are protected by the historic heritage, and we will see beautiful examples of eclectic architecture and art deco.
The neighborhood also houses the Cravo Albin Cultural Institute (dedicated to Brazilian popular music research) and Fort São João, dating from the 15th century.
One of the most frequented places is the Urca bar (mureta da Urca), where you can buy snacks and savor them with a beer, enjoying the sunset, (one of the most beautiful in Rio).
Ready for the ride? You can define where you want to see the sunset, either on Sugar Loaf or on Urca wall.
